Mischa Barton chose the perfect color for her prom dress: the petal soft yellow of the camellia from which it was inspired.

Ever since Mischa Barton's character, Marissa Cooper,  wore a Camellia prom dress from the Chanel Spring 2006 collection, girls everywhere are asking where they can find one.

Well, sadly, unless you can sew, you won't find this prom dress anywhere, because there were only two such Camellia dresses available in the U.S, when it first came out.

Prom dresses like Mischa's have gotten more popular over the years, we are beginning to see the flower motif at the waist, or shoulder, even the hemline, Once upon a time, it was the established essential for women's hats, the flower, but more recently  the camellia has become more welcomed by younger women.
