People's Choice Awards
A
place where you decide the winners!

Selena Gomez onstage at the People's Choice
Awards
The
People have spoken. She has spoken. If the
unofficial grand opening event of this year's
awards season is any indication, prom girls will
be asking for much more when it comes to buying
their prom dress this time around.
Once again, our beloved, Queen Latifah hosted
the People's Choice Awards, which aired on CBS.
on Wednesday January 5th, 2011. The Jersey girl
kicked up her heels with a huge musical number,
bustling down the aisles of Los Angeles' Nokia
Theater in a black suit, big jewels and casual
kicks, flanked by dancers thrusting their fists
in the air to tune of Taio Cruz's "Dynamite."
No doubt, there will be much demand for
bust-line enhancing, waist cinching, numbers
that are by now common issue for any
Hollywood event. But we have reason to believe
that women, especially young women, are really
getting it when it comes to style. I said style,
not fashion. They are getting they don't need to
fashion themselves after a Kardashian to get
noticed.
Ladylike and Sexy : Uncommonly Elegant

Singer Taylor Swift arrives at the 2011 People's
Choice Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on
January 5, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.
Taylor Swift, People's Choice Female Country
Music Artist returned to her tried and true
look: Her floaty peachy chiffon J. Mendel
cocktail dress allowed a softened, sequined
waistline and skin baring details due to clever
criss-cross draping at the bustline.

with opulent rose gold Carla Amorim earrings and
matching satin platform shoes.

Minka Kelly shimmered in a draped-sleeve mini by
style maven Vivienne Westwood. Who sez you have
to wear black to look hot?
