Step by Step

1. Create a soft part from one ear to the other. Coax the hair in the front of the part forward and away from the eyes.

2. Spray the hair that lies behind the part with curl reviver. Work through to re-define your curl.

3 .Coax the hair with your fingers towards the back of the head. Hold it back as if you were going to make a ponytail.

4. Twist loosely, while you are holding it back away from your head. When you have twisted a length of 5" or 6", bring the end upward against the head to form a roll. Secure roll with hairpins. Fan out the loose hair, allowing it to cascade down.

5. Now, spray the hair that lies in front of part with curl reviver and work through.

6. Take one section at a time (top, left side, right side) and coax the hair back towards the top of the roll. Secure it near the cascading curls, allowing additional hair to drape behind the ears and around the face. Continue until all the hair has been secured and draped. Carefully revive if necessary.

7. Decorate with a fancy hairpins for extra hold.

Variation: This style looks good even on straight hair. Create tendrils by using a curling iron on the loose hair. To create height, wind 4 large or 3 jumbo rollers from the bangs back to the crown. When set, brush the bang forward and lightly backcomb the top for extra volume.

Tip: Brush your hair before trying these styles. Use only your fingers to coax the hair after you apply curl reviver lotion.

Create-a-Look Flowing gently tumbling curls spell romance to me! Your dress should be light and airy too: chiffon, netting, lace. Colors? Soft, pastels. Accessories? Flowers. Of course.
