Conditioner:
Makes hair soft and manageable. Can be used
after each shampoo unless your hair is fine.
Deep
conditioner: Adds extra moisture to
hair to prevent damage. Used no more than once a
month, unless your hair is especially course and
dry.
De-frizzers:

on wet hair only.
Gels:

Lighter than waxes, they can give similar

Sprays:
Holds hair in place. Look for gloss and
conditioners and don't use too much!
Texturizing Lotions: Adds a tousled or scrunched
look to hair. Use on almost dry hair.
Volumizers: Can be used on wet or partially dry hair. Gives
thin hair some pizzazz.
Waxes:
Give texture to hair that's been blow dried. Can
be used to sculpt or sleek hair.
Brushes:
Try to get a brush with natural bristles which
are the least irritating to the scalp and do
wonders in distributing your hair's natural oil
onto the hair shaft. Shine!
If you have thin hair, stick with a soft or
medium bristle brush. Avoid harsh brushing.
If you have medium hair, you can use either
medium or thick bristles.
